CHEIROLOGY RESEARCH ORGANIZATION – CRO

The Cheirology Research Organization (CRO) is a non-profit organization (050-437-NPO) registered in 2006.

AIM.

CRO endeavors to, through research and training, establish affordable counselling services, based on internationally acclaimed methods and standards, utilizing the principles of Chirology.

OBJECTIVES.

The organization’s main objectives are to:

  • Provide counselling services.
  • Provide training.
  • Conduct research.

The organization’s secondary objectives are to:

  • Establish sustainable counselling services in communities.
  • Produce reliable scientific research.
  • Create job opportunities.
  • Provide assistance to practicing Chirologists.

PROJECTS.

CRO has successfully completed various projects since its registration in 2006 that includes:

  • Training of Chirologists and the establishment of a Directory of Certified Chirologists in South Africa. Get more information here ********
  • Establishment of a research database of more than 8600 handprints. This is an ongoing project.
  • Information courses and workshops aimed at empowering individuals by using the principles of Chirology. Get more information here ********
  • Soul Group Initiative, this is an ongoing project. Get more information here ********
  • Emotional Step-down Project. This project is scheduled to start in September 2022. Get more information here ********

Projects are designed in ways that ensure, that when completed, they will be self-sufficient. Funding is usually only required for the initial establishment of infrastructure and logistical aspects.

Because CRO is a registered non-profit organization all financial aspects are subject to yearly audits that ensures sound financial management. The Department of Social Development also monitors the organization’s management of funds to ensure that money received is spent in accordance with the registered constitutional mandates of the organization.
